Mauna Loa Observatory Road

Next we headed up the Saddle Road west into the interior of the island. Right between the two massive mountain peaks that form the island are roads that go to each. We took the road to the south. It's a one lane road that starts at 6500 feet (the altitude where we live) and then goes up. And up. And up.
