Berck and the Caldera

I wanted to hike the rest of the way to look down into the main caldera, but Berck was worried about not having enough water and the blisters on his feet. He reached the top about 20 minutes sooner than I did and sat with his arms in his T-shirt to keep warm in the freezing wind. The summit is at 13,679 feet. Here he is wearing my long-sleeve shirt.
