Sometime before Wednesday, I’m unplugging the computers and packing them up. This means the blog will be riding in a Budget truck to Colorado where it will sit lonely and internetless and won’t be accessable for awhile. I’ve already ordered internet for the new apartment, but they haven’t scheduled an installation date, so who knows how long it will take. Okay, I’m sick hand-weeding out the comment spam on the blog, so now there’s a captcha plugin. For those of you that hate them (I thought this was everybody, but Nathan and Jonah think they’re fun), you don’t have to do it if you create an account and login. And, if you create an account, login and accept the cookie, you should stay logged in as long as you hang on to the cookie.
We’ve found a place to live! It’s an apartment in the foothills just south of the Academy. It’s two bedrooms and one and a half baths (room for visitors!). It’s older, but there’s a new range in the kitchen. And there’s a fireplace (which actually comes in handy in Colorado). There’s a balcony with a view of the mountains. And it’s next to a nice, big park…perfect for kite flying! It was the first apartment we looked at today.
