The aptly-named B train runs from Bedford Blvd, Bronx to Brighton Beach, Brooklyn. In inaptly-named Madison Square Garden is nowhere near Madison, is not in any way a square (it’s more of a cylinder), and is certainly not a garden by any stretch of the imagination. The BQE is easily confused with the BQ in casual conversation. One is the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway, while the other is a pair of concurrent train lines.
I’ve been assigned a CRJ ground school class starting on November 3 in Phoenix. It looks like they’re putting us up in ASU student housing, which is not so good. It’s in the middle of nowhere, which means that without a car, you can’t get anywhere. Depending on my last day of flying in JFK, which could be as late as November 1, it could also be very annoying. I might have to go from JFK to PHX without going home first. I hope that’s not the case. And, they haven’t run the CRJ displacement awards yet, where I’ve bid…
