Those of you using Firefox who haven’t played around with various available extensions ought to. My current favorite is the Ad-Blocking extension. You no longer need to look at ads of any kind. Really. It works. After you download and install the extension, you need to give it a list to work with. I suggest downloading this one. To install it, open adblock’s preferences, click options, and tell it to import that list.
Here’s an interesting article from Scientific American about just how utterly worthless Bush’s missile defense program really is. An astounding waste of $80 billion. When I think of what $80 billion could do for, say, education, I can’t help but cry.
