I’ve been trying to write about movies I’ve watched lately. Mostly as much for myself as anyone, because movies are so often very transient with me. I don’t provide a lot of detail, for several reasons. One of them is that I like to know as little about a movie as possible before I watch it. I’ve got two more flights in a complex aircraft, then I’ll be signed off for a stage check and then a check ride. If all goes well, I should have my commercial license soon. Joanna and I are going to Highlands, NC on Saturday for Joanna’s hard-earned vacation time. This is, of course, horrible timing for me, since I don’t think there’s any way I’ll manage to get a checkride in before I leave. My sister just sent me this concerning my nephew: “Nathan and I were making pizzas tonight and Ian was in his highchair eating his pre-supper to keep him happy and out of the way.
