No spin ride today

The instructor responsible for taking me on a spin ride today didn’t want to do it in clouds. Imagine that. Before I can get an instructor rating, I’ve got to get signed off on spin training. This way when a student puts me in a spin, I’ll be prepared to save us. Since I’ve never spun a plane before, I’m rather excited about it. I was scheduled at 10am as well. eBayers

It seems that approximately 90% of eBay transactions go smoothly. I list an item, it sells, the buyer sends me paypal in the next 24 hours, and I ship the item immediately. Then about half of the others don’t send a payment until I file an unpaid item dispute. And some people never pay. One woman has been particularly trying. I’ve received 9 emails from her, all of which I’ve responded to. She sent me some sort of bank draft which she insisted was a cashier’s check. FOI Done

It took 15 minutes for the test proctor to check my credentials and prepare the computer for my test. They gave me 90 minutes to answer 50 questions. I took 10 minutes, and got a 96%. So, I’m done with THAT stupid test. When you’ve got all the questions and the answers beforehand, there’s really no excuse for not passing it. Now I’ve got to hit the books for my Oral exam, and I’ll be an instrument instructor soon.

Almost done with CFII

I’ve got one more flight, a spin ride, and a check ride. I’m excited about the spin ride, since I’ve still never spun an airplane. That’ll be tomorrow morning at 8am, and my last flight should be at 10am. Should get a check ride end of this week, or beginning of next. I’m taking the Fundamentals of Instructing written exam at 3pm, so time for some last minute studying.
