We all went up to the wood lot today. Berck got bored because he didn’t have a chainsaw to play with (like Nathan and Max did). Although, if he had, he probably would have cut off a leg. I blazed a trail for the three-wheeler to haul brush up (on an old car hood) while Max and Nathan cut up a 70-year-old pine tree. Under the brush by the tree, Nathan found our digital camera! The other day was a little more eventful than usual at work. Michele came back inside from checking on the horses and announced that Shalom had a broken bone sticking out of her leg. The vet was summoned. The best thing was to put the horse down, it was decided. I should say here that the house is more full than usual.
