Rather than explaining RSS feeds to her, I just installed a plugin that will let you subscribe to the blog and get email updates.<\/p>\n<p><!--subscribe2--><\/p>\n<p>Note that you need to actually have an account on Our Dumb Blog already. If you&#8217;d like an account and don&#8217;t have one, please send a message to flyboy @ that ever-popular-webmail site, gmail.com.<\/p>\n<p>Also note that you subscribe by selecting the categories you wish to subscribe to, which isn&#8217;t exactly intuitive, but that&#8217;s the way it is. You can receive HTML or plain text email, and you can receive either excerpts or the entire posts. Let me know if you&#8217;ve got any problems with it.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, I&#8217;ve added a check box which will e-mail you about follow-up comments to a post.
