I’m studying for the FAA Instrument Written exam. It’s driving me crazy. While reading this question, I was thoroughly amused by the ridiculous number of acronyms in this one question and its possible answers.<\/p>\n

How does a pilot determine if DME is available on an ILS\/LOC?<\/p>\n

A–\tIAP indicate DME\/TACAN channel in LOC frequency box.
\nB– LOC\/DME are indicated on en route low altitude frequency box.
