Our Dumb Blog had 2,455 unique visitors in March. This may sound impressive, until you realize that 2,207 of them came from MSN searches. Microsoft’s new search engine is so bad that it thinks my blog is an expert on things like “snore wars”. The amusing thing is that now that I’ve said that, I’ll have a few thousand extra hits in April. I wonder if I can delist myself from MSN but not Google?<\/p>\n
I’d post the list of search terms used to get here, but there’s 1,633 of them. Maybe I’ll post a choice few. Keep in mind that almost all of these are a result of people typing things directly into their internet explorer address bar, and the default search that comes up is MSN…. The fact that they THEN click on my MY blog is the disturbing part.<\/p>\n
