{"id":3727,"date":"2014-08-02T15:23:42","date_gmt":"2014-08-02T21:23:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nachzen.net\/?p=3727"},"modified":"2014-08-03T17:52:48","modified_gmt":"2014-08-03T23:52:48","slug":"trip-to-oshkosh-day-9","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nachzen.net\/?p=3727","title":{"rendered":"Trip to Oshkosh &#8211; Day 9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p2\">Friday, August 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">My tennis shoes were still wet from the downpour the day before, so I tied them to my back pack and wore my Chacos.\u00a0 Tracey dropped Berck and me off at the museum, and we fully explored that before catching a bus back to the event area.\u00a0 The show was the best yet, which the Jelly Belly plane interrupting an aerobatic routine with his aileron falling off.\u00a0 The Thunderbirds were the last to perform. I&#8217;d never seen them perform except at the USAFA stadium at graduation.\u00a0 It rained on and off, so we were glad to have our umbrellas.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Uncle Stacy was over at the FBO when the Thunderbirds were getting ready, so he got to watch them do all their preflights together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">Berck and I met Randy and Stacy over at the parking area, and then we all picked up Uncle Stacy at the FBO.\u00a0 Then Randy and Stacy started off for home in their car.
