That’s pretty much what you’d expect. The more interesting thing? In years with Democratic presidents, all income groups (even the wealthiest) experience more income gains than with a Republican president. So there you have it: If you want to be wealthier, vote for a Democratic president. I wonder if there’s any similar statistical correlation in congress?
