Finally, after too long off (admittedly, much of it for OSH, and that shoudln’t count against us, right?), I managed to get an hour in this evening after work. Riveted the rear spar to the right elevator. Berck: 1 hour.
Berck got a new job. He started Monday and didn’t do much this week, so he doesn’t know yet if he likes it or not. It does pay more money though, so, of course, he had to buy a new motorcycle. It’s a brand new 2014 red Honda CB1100. It’s meant to look like a Honda from 40 years ago but with modern conveniences like fuel injection and anti-lock brakes. We picked it up yesterday after work.

We’re getting ready to go to work.” “Can you verify your parents’ address?” Well, I know they’re on Ford Drive, and there’s a 1, 4, and 5 in the address, plus an additional one of those, though I can never remember which.…

I knew grad school was going to be a substantial amount of work, but after several weeks of essentially doing nothing but working for 4 hours after work and all the weekends, I was starting to fall behind. Someone else at Georgia Tech mentioned that they’d already taken 3 days off of work in order to try to get caught up with school work. You know what? Screw that. I don’t need…
