I’ve been tagged.

1. Olives are the only food I don’t like, but I’ve tried to teach myself to (so far in vain).

2. I don’t like soap.

3. For the first couple years after I learned to drive, I religiously kept to the speed limit. I always had a line of angry motorists behind me.

4. I have a black thumb.

5. The only exception to #4 is when I successfully planted a rye grass smiley face in my college’s quad my senior year. There was a great view of it from the top of the science building after winter break.

6. I tried to turn the water in the college fountain purple on my last day of school by putting several bottles of food coloring in it. But I don’t know if I succeeded, because I left in a hurry before it could all mix.

7. I can code HTML (badly).

Oh, I know which one you want to believe. But that’s the same as believing Obama thinks there are 57 states. He said so himself!

Migraines May Cut Breast Cancer Risk

Obama will win easily. If McCain wins Pennsylvania, then he has a fighting chance, which is why he’s been campaigning so heavily there. But if that happens, it will be a pretty big upset, and things could get really interesting.

Democrats will gain at least 5 Senate seats, possibly even more on Obama’s coattails. The big news tonight will be if the Democrats get a filibuster-proof 60 seats total, which I don’t think will happen but is certainly possible. This will be a difficult election to have polled since there are so many new voters.

Democrats will pick up seats in the House, but that doesn’t really change anything.

We’re having an election party tonight! On the menu is brauts (in lieu of hot dogs), popcorn balls, and apple pie! We’ve left up the Halloween decorations, which I think is probably fitting.

Obama’s plan will bankrupt anyone building a coal power plant.

And the price of electricity will necessarily skyrocket under his plan.

I thought he was for clean coal?

You environmentalists will be thrilled.

The US has more coal than the rest of the world put together. It could solve our energy needs for two centuries. But we won’t be allowed to use it.

On the same note, on Wednesday I have a business meeting with these folks who are developing a method of sequestering CO2. So I’m the one actually doing something about it.
