eBayers

It seems that approximately 90% of eBay transactions go smoothly. I list an item, it sells, the buyer sends me paypal in the next 24 hours, and I ship the item immediately. Then about half of the others don’t send a payment until I file an unpaid item dispute. And some people never pay.

One woman has been particularly trying. I’ve received 9 emails from her, all of which I’ve responded to. She sent me some sort of bank draft which she insisted was a cashier’s check. It didn’t strike me as guaranteed funds, so I sent the check to my bank and waited for it to clear. I shipped the item today, and e-mailed her a tracking number. I just received an e-mail asking if I’d sent her item.

I’m tempted to leave her feedback that says, “Paid for her item, but she’s an astounding pain in the ass.”

  1. Be nice. She may be a redneck on a four wheeler with gasoline! She may tie you up and set you on fire because your brother-in-law drives an Acura!

  2. Yes, fearing rednecks is good. Especially since you live with one. Just ask about his chainsaw-bearing ATV carousing.

  3. wouldn’t a shotgun be more characteristic of redneckishness? the whole chainsaw thing makes me think more of a lumberjack than the other. So if you crossed lumberjack with redneck would that make him a red-jack or a lumberneck?

  4. I don’t think you look gay I was accused of looking gay myself throughout most of college. Now that I drss like a hobo and have a beard that makes me look a like a beggar, I don’t get that so much anymore.
