1. Ben turned the cake making over to you after you volunteered, or is the reader to understand that
   the only voluntary action here was on Ben’s part?

2. You should try the chocolate cake we made here for Christmas… mmmmmm!! Different from the one you had… still scrumptious!
   We made another for New Year’s Eve.

3. As Cake Commissioner, I get to make the rules about Amanda’s cake-making and determine when 50 is reached. For instance, cupcakes do not count as individual cakes, but mini bunt cakes can. And, as good as the crazy, insane cheesecake was, it still only counted as one cake.
