Dream

Berck: I dreamed that you worked at Walgreens, and I needed an ATM, and you said, “You can use this one here.” But instead of a screen it was like a vending machine where you could see all of the items available. So I picked what looked like a basket of dollar bills, but when it all dumped out, there were some British pounds, some gold airplanes that were each worth $63, a menorah starter set, a book on the history of gelt, and all this other stuff. I asked you what to do, and you said I could insert the British pounds into this other ATM, but of course the airplanes wouldn’t fit. And then you said, “Why did you get the grab bag?!” And you were so mad at me.

It’s my birthday and I’ll fly if I want to.

I took Jonah flying for my birthday. We flew behind Pike’s Peak over to Salida, over the Royal Gorge, then back to the Springs. It ended up being a perfect day for mountain flying. Jonah took several gigabytes of photos, so she’ll probably post some.

After that, we headed to King’s Chef for breakfast that couldn’t be beat. While we were eating, I received the following voice mail, for which Nathan has requested the Google transcription. So here you go:

Happy Birthday. Jane happy birthday to him, happy. Hey, I have on file, happy. He and It’s not really nice to be one of the wish you Happy Birthday. Google was booth, call me back or if you could, Google tried. Thanks bye bye.

In my inbox…

Drew,

Do you remember the town that the Gonzalas’ lived in? I guess that is where Deb left the rocker. Please see if you can find them for me so I can see if they still have the chair.

Love you, Grammy

Drew,

Please try to remember the town that the Gonzolas’ lived in so I can try to get in touch with them to get the rocker.

Love you,
